Team
One principal investigator, one postdoctoral researcher, and eleven graduate students across displays, catalysis, and energy materials — plus external collaborators and lab alumni.
Associate Professor
Department of Energy Engineering
Hanyang University, Seoul
Prof. Kim is recognized for perovskite light-emitting diodes that reach the material's efficiency limits, and for demonstrating that molecular chirality can steer electron spin — enabling the first room-temperature spin-LED. His group extends this molecular-to-solid-state design philosophy across displays, photovoltaics, photodetectors, catalysis, and energy storage.

We welcome excellent researchers with backgrounds in energy, materials, chemical, or electronics engineering, physics, and chemistry — for automated/AI-driven optoelectronic devices, catalysis (CO2 reduction, H2), and eco-friendly semiconductor processing.
Tuition and living stipends are supported, and members are encouraged to attend domestic and international conferences and to pursue overseas study or industry careers after their degree. Graduate applicants and postdoc candidates are encouraged to email Prof. Kim directly.
